Momentum now includes the ability to sync with Google Calendar!

  • When you create a Scheduled Event in Momentum, that event will automatically be created & immediately visible in Google Calendar — and vice versa.
  • Any time you delete an event in Momentum or Google Calendar, that event is deleted in the other tool as well.

This is a preliminary release, so here are a few important things to note about the Momentum<>GCal sync, as we continue to work on the integration:

  1. Your Momentum Calendar in Google lives separately from your usual GCal view. Momentum creates a new calendar in GCal to capture all your Momentum scheduled events. You can find it easily under “My Calendars” at the left of your screen when you’re on your Google Calendar.
  1. Keep in mind, you’ll need to add all your regular and upcoming events to this Momentum Google Calendar to take advantage of two-way calendar sync.
  1. Repeat/recurring appointments/events are currently not supported in Momentum, and therefore aren’t available as part of calendar sync. We expect to add those in a future release. In the meantime, you’ll need to add repeat event instances individually.
  1. Here is what’s easily transferable between Momentum and GCal events:
  1. Title of the event
  2. Date
  3. Start time
  4. End time

***Other information entered into Google Calendar event (location, notes, etc.) will not be moved over to Momentum since there are currently no data fields for that information in Momentum. Additionally, related project information you enter in Momentum is not transferred to Google Calendar.

***iCal and Outlook calendar integrations are also on the list of future Momentum enhancements.
